I will and always be a Chan supporter but when I heard he recently said "Tony was the best" not only for his real stunts but his skills I had to see what the excitement was all about. To be honest I was not that amazed with Ong Bak, although it seems everyone else loved it, I was thinking there are still better out there like Jet Li. After seeing a few scenes on adverts I had to watch this film. As in Ong Bak the script was dreadful BUT the action blew me away. OH my goodness, for the avid marshal arts fan this is a giant step to cinema perfection. It just gets better and better as the film climaxes. Nathan Jones, the monster from Troy is the perfect opponent. Strong and fearless. Some of the best multiple opponent fight scenes ever screened. All this guy Tony Jaa needs is an accomplished Director with the same choreography and a Legend will be born. Can he get better these fights scenes, thats the question now?

I must have watched this film 5 times already. I think an marital arts film wouldn't work unless the leading actor is a genuine martial artist outside acting. And we're talking here about Tony Jaa. This man is an amazing athlete. He is professional in all sorts of martial arts: gymnastics, parkour, self defense, thay boxing in particular. He has all the martial arts skills required to do an awesome movie like this. A must see if you'd like to see true martial arts skills

Tom Yum Goong has to be one of the best Matial Arts movie i have ever seen. The acting i would have to admit was not 100% but i tell you what when it comes down to the action sequences it will blow you away to another dimension. The best thing about the movie is that their are no strings attached, all the action and fighting scenes were actually done by Tony Jaa, so basically what you see is what you get. Even though the movie is in English subtitles the storyline is pretty straight down the line and not hard to understand what is going on at all. The story line is fantastic which will also give you goose bumps all over due to the emotional bond between the elephants and Tom. If you enjoyed Ong Bak then believe you me you have not seen anything yet, Tony Jaa is definitely going to be the next best thing, step aside Jet Li and Jackie Chan, Tony Jaa is the next Bruce Lee of Martial Arts.

Warrior King along with Ong Bak are my favourite Tony Jaa films. This one contains so much amazing fighting, it is just relentless at times.
No comedy really in this one, just fighting and more fighting.
It is a very good film
8.5 out of 10.

in the 80s we action film fans had a lot going for us. Because the action stars back then actually had real fighting experience. Chuck Norris, Steven Seagal, and of course jackie chan , sammo hung, and yuen biao. The problem is, now all of these people are old no longer making any movies. So, what are we to do? Well luckily some Thailand action buffs thought the same thing, and thus Tony Jaa was born. You really have to be a true action film fan to appreciate the action stardom that Tony Jaa has. He is "the next great one", and his films deserve to be honored by the likes of those good old action classics. could talk all day but sadly i have a life and must go back to-oh who am i kidding, IMDb still has not posted My review of the worst movie of 2008; The Dark Knight.

The martial artist Tony Jaa shows his ferocious and fierce fighting style in this movie. He beats a lot of people by simply fracturing them. The incredible action sequences are just ingeniously choreographed, which is among the greatest action scenes I've ever seen. Tony becomes an international action star after this film.

Muay Thai ass kicker goes to Australia to track down his stolen elephants.
Good fights. That's about it. That's all you really want from these. Not as good as Jackie Chan, but what really is?

I watch this movie twice in the last few months. First time, I hate the movie, and think it was crap and unintelligent. Then, I watch it again and see the beauty in this movie. Tony Jaa act with a soul in this movie. He's not just there to fight, he fight for something he really believes in. The supporting cast is quite interesting with a few actors of Ong-Bak in this movie too. But it's not a sequel. The ending is absolutely beautiful. And the main villains played their roles pretty well. Also, Nathan Jones appear in this movie. Former WWE wrestler finds a home for himself, he was really bad as a wrestler but made a heel character pretty well and pull some great moves, great stunts with Tony. The action sequences are done the right way!! Congratulations to all the team who make this movie!
